Business insurance?

thinking of going into business for myself doing property preservation. wondering if anyone knows what type of insurance id need and how much it would cost me to secure the policy... thanks

There are a lot of questions that an insurance agent is going to want to know here.
Will you be taking customer property off premises?
What type of vehicle is going to be used for this operation?
As a minimum you'll need a general liability policy - http://www.insuremywork.com/general-liab…
and a commercial auto policy.
If you have employees than you'll need workers comp.

  3. All liability policies have exclusions but you home insurance is very broad and is your best bet on a personal level. if you are concerned about business liability you should have an umbrella policy they drop down to pick up exclusions on a commercial liability policy as long as they are not excluded under the umbrella policy

It is easy to find a business insurance quote on the internet and business insurance rates are very affordable. A company will need a general liability policy and also an independent policy to cover specific liabilities such as product liability and workers compensation coverage which pays for claims made by injured employees. A casualty policy is a must if visitors come onto the company premises.
