Do I need to use an insurance broker to buy business insurance?

I run a small independent shop, and require business insurance. does anyone offer this direct like household and motor, or do I have to use a specialist broker?

Hello, business insurance is much more complicated than home or Auto insurance. I found interesting information about your business-insurance answer here. Goodhttp://all-insurance-online.blogspot.com… luck!

We've found AXA to be pretty good. you can go direct to them on-line - see the address below - and they have insurance specifically for small shops.

Good luck with your new venture! for more information on starting your business visit www.parrexcellence.com

You don't need to use an insurance broker - in the same way that you don't need a lawyer to make a will or argue your case in court.

But it certainly helps! your specialism is running a shop - it is not understanding what insurance policies or cover you need - and a mistake could result in you losing your livelihood.

So trust the professional - not amateurs on forums like these.

I don't think so because my understanding is that an Insurance broker is only really a man in the middle that charges for his service
