Holiday Insurance for the terminally ill?

Does anyone know if it is possible to get this and roughly how much it would be? many thanks.

Sad to hear someone is terminally ill. Unfortuantely, no insurer will give you insurance on this.

all companies are different and quote differntlt so you really need to contact insurers. you may find that you can get insurance that includes everything but pre-existing illnesses.

To avoid any exclusions, maybe it's best to extend your existing health insurance to cover you abroad.

Otherwise, check with your travel agent about exclusions, since it's a pre-existing condition.

You can get holiday insurance for anybody. if you reveal all the medical problems, including a terminal illness, you will pay probably around four hundred pounds. if you stay in Britain, you will pay nothing!!! Google the insurance sites and you will get a better idea. good luck.

Depending on the illness, there may be a charity in the UK which can help you. I know the CF Trust (cystic fibrosis charity) helps families who want to take their sick child abroad.

Not 100% sure on this but i know that you can get insurance that will cover anything (as long as it doesnt relate to the pre-existing problem), i have had a liver transplant and i was getting quotes over £100 for a single trip policy, but i phoned the post office and they gave me cover for less than £30 but i wouldnt have been covered for anything related to the transplant and basically if that goes wrong there isnt much hope anyway now is there, you should try ringing round some companies to see.
