What is a good estimate for small business insurance?

I am working a project for my MBA class. I am organizing a small business for the project. It's a cooperative of specialty poultry producers. The cooperative markets the poultry to local major retailers and transports end products (after processing, packaging and storage to retailer DC's). I need a quote for general liability insurance and insurance on a small refrigerated truck (driven by someone with a pristine record). I need annual premium estimates that coincide with an exact policy amount - the least possible please! Online insurance quoters are not working.

If you have effectively analyzed your target markets, put into place an attention-getting promotional plan and learned how to demonstrate the benefits of dealing with your company, you will start to receive money in return for providing satisfaction. Estimating the cost for your business depends upon many factors like Office Space, Computers, Copiers, Inventory, telecommunication, insurance, License and permits, etc. these factors will help you to estimate the cost of starting your business insurance.

I would suggest you to visit www.fintel.us for any query.

  3. Hi Pedra,

I just finished teaching a summer MBA class and your article is so timely.

I wish there were more leaders with the desire to actively manage an ongoing intern program. Text books and case studies only go so far. The most effective learning is learning by doing.

I use a phrase..."don't tell me what you have learned, but rather tell me how you will act differently." An internship structured as you have articulated in your post accomplishes the acting differently.

The poultry producers have been protected by goverment at the expense of consumers.
I remember when the poultry producers said they would offer consumers drumsticks at cheaper prices to prevent goverment from importing chicken wings.

Since chicken wings are price controlled, it is more profitable for them to produce drummetes.

I cannot believe that people are actually buying these!
